The Holiday Fun Begins

BLACK FRIDAY!!!! Well,
Gentry, Jen, and I (and
usually Ginger, but she
couldn't go this year) ventured
out shopping at 4 AM!!! We're
crazy I know, but it's so much
fun!!! We started off the day
at Kohl's. The line went all
the way in front of K-mart,
which is where we were
standing in these pictures.
(Thanks Jen for the pics!) We
hit a few other stores and even
went to Kohl's twice, had
breakfast at Angie's (it's
tradition) and we were home
by 9 am!!!

The Saturday after Thankgiving we went to dinner w/Brady and Jenna to The Black Pearl. It's very yummy Chinese food if anyone's looking for a good place to eat. Then off to The Forgotten Carols. We went w/all of Jenna's family and some of Brady's. It was so much fun and a great way to start off the Christmas season!!!!!! I love The Forgotten Carols!!!

Here's a couple of pictures of Hunter on his 8 month b-day!!! I can't believe how big he is getting!!! He is scooting all over the place, I'm sure it won't be long before he's crawling!!! Then we're in trouble:)!! He sits up very well, scoots, eats all kinds of foods and still like them all so far!! He's for sure Jess's child, When he's hungry he wants fed, and he'll eat anything!! I'm very grateful for this and I sure hope it never changes:). I'm sure it will!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!! We even got to celebrate twice. Starting this year, we've decided to switch off every other year with our families, and this year we went with Jess's fam. So, my mom had Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday night, so we could still celebrate Thanksgiving together. It was so much fun and so delicious!!!!! Thanksgiving dinner is my favorite!!!! So, here's most of my fam.

Dad being silly again. All Hunter needs is his little wranglers, and he's set!!!

Thanksgiving Day!!!!!! Jess got up and went on the annual pheasant hunting excursion with his family and some friends, and had a great time!!! We then went down to his mom's for a yummy dinner!!!! Grandma hurried and grabbed the drumstick to put on the highchair in front of Hunter. Right as I was taking the picture, Hunter got a grip on the drumstick!!! He sure wished he could have some:) He is eating pretty much all the baby foods and there's not one that he doesn't like. I'm so grateful for this, but I'm sure it will change. He did get to try mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, beans, and a roll for his 1st Thanksgiving.

And just a little family photo on Hunter's 1st Thanksgiving.

I know it is after Thanksgiving, (and Christmas), but I am so thankful for so many things. I feel like I need to express my gratitude for all that I have. I am first and foremost thankful for the gospel in my life and my loving Heavenly Father and my Savior. I am grateful for the atonement and the plan of salvation. Our time here on earth is so short and unknown. We need to remember what's really important and prioritize our lives. I need to improve on this imensely, but I am working on it. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family, both immmediate and extended. We have such wonderful parents who love and support us and we love them soooooo much!!!! I am grateful for Hunter in our lives and what joy he brings to us!!! I only pray that we can raise him right!!! Having diabetes, I was unsure if I would even be able to have children, let alone have a healthy pregnancy, pretty good delivery and beautiful baby!!!!! I can't imagine my life without Him. I truly could go on for hours with the things I am grateful for, but I will keep my post within reason. We are truly blessed!!!!

Growing like a weed

Hunter is getting so big!! Everyday, I am amazed at how fast he is growing and all the new things he learns everyday. It's amazing how much they learn in such a short period of time!!! I'm so happy is growing and developing like he should, but I wish I could just enjoy each stage a little bit longer. But, he sure gets funner and funner everyday!!!!!I don't know why, but I thought he looked so cute, so I took a bunch of pictures, but this doesn't do justice to how cute he looked to me the night I took this. Sweet dreams!!!

He is scooting all over the place, and loves to get his hands on anything he's not supposed to have. . .cellphones, remotes, DVD/VCR, Sterio, hair straightener cord, etc. I could go on and on!!!! I'm pretty sure he inherited some of his dad's mischevious genes. He gets that look in his eyes sometimes. I know I'm in for it, between Jess and Hunter:)

St. George

Well, we went to St. George for the weekend to celebrate Grandma Carol's b-day and to see the new house. It was so much fun and the house is beautiful. I hardly took any pictures, which is so unlike me:), but we weren't there for very long. We left Friday evening and came home Sunday night!!! Short and sweet, but we had a blast. And Hunter did so well in the car. We can't wait to go again!! Thanks Grant and Carol for such a fun weekend!!!

hanging out in the family room.

Grandpa and Hunter are out for the count!!! And yes, Hunter's sleeping with his eyes open. He does that quite often.

This is the loft!! There's a TV up there and Grandma got a Wii for her b-day, so that's what we were doing at the time!!!
