Max's 1st BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!

Max's 1st Birthday party! We celebrated a couple days late on Saturday the 23rd after the Easter Egg Hunt. And it was PERFECT!! A few shots of Max with his cakes and balloons! The ballons were the best distraction and made him laugh and smile! He loved playing with them! His theme was camo! so I attempted a tank cake and then the little one is for him to dive into!

Too many cute ones to choose from! And thanks to everyone that helped get him to smile:)!

The Cakes!

Tys, Max, and Grandma Carol!

Jess (can you believe he's texting?:)!), Grandma Jones, Holly, and Chance

Gent, Papa White, Max, and Grandpa Jones

Tys, Gent, and Bunts watching Max! Let the Party begin!!:)

Hunter was such a good helper!! They are so lucky to have each other!!

And Grandma helped too!

But Max did get the hang of it pretty darn quick!

Max got spoiled rotten!! Thanks so much to all our family for coming!!

Photo with Dad and Mom before diving into the cake:)!

Singing Happy Birthday!! Still can't believe he's one!

Hope he made a good wish:)!

And he's off....

And thoroughly enjoyed it!!!:)

This was just later that evening after the party was over! What a cute, happy boy!!!! Love you Max!!!! Just a funny: I went for a run in the evening after Max's party and my shins had been hurting but I was trying to just keep going, hoping they would start to feel better. Well about 1 mile in, I could hardly walk! I don't think I've ever felt that much pain! Turns out I had shin splints:(. Well I made it home after about 3 miles, and I came inside and Hunter was sitting at the kitchen table. I sat down at the table and put my legs up on the table and was rubbing my shins and I asked Hunter, "Oh Mom's legs hurt so bad. What should I do with them?" He responded, "Oh...probwy dus get wid of them!" Lol!! Love this kid:)!

The annual Paradise Easter Egg Hunt!!!!

Yay!! The annual Paradise Easter Egg Hunt!! So much fun!! It's a big event and I love that all those who grew up in Paradise and that are now grown up and have their own families come back for all the fun!! From finding eggs to catching chickens!! So much fun! I love such fun traditions!!
Attemps at a family picture:)! There's always one of us that's not looking or smiling:)! Lol! Guess that's how it goes:)! We're just waiting for the Easter Egg Hunt to start!!

Mom and Max! I think he got 1 egg but maybe 2, I can't even remember?! But he had fun getting it:)! Jess is in the Lion's Club and they put it on so he was in charge of some of the older kids. My parents and Carol and Gentry were there. So my dad stayed with Max and I and my mom, Carol, and Gentry went with Hunter! So glad they were all there! They divide the kids up into different age groups so it makes it hard to be able to see em both.

Hunter with his soccer ball Easter basket. He LOVES it!! We got it a few weeks before Easter and he carried it around the house all the time talking about getting Easter eggs:)!

Gentry's helping Bunts look for eggs. Thanks to my mom for taking pictures so I could see:)!

I can't believe how big he's getting!

Grandma Carol, Bunts, and Gent

Mom and Max again! Yep 1 egg:)!

Me holding Max (in the green jacket) lining up for the bunny chase! It's 0-2 year olds, so he didn't stand much of a chance:)! But it was fun trying!

Poor Hunter was so excited to chase and try to catch a bunny and had talked about it forever! But when it was time to do it, he had no desire. He was kinda sad during it and just wanted me to hold him. Silly boy. So we'll try again next year:)!

They had this cool looking pheasant to let go for the older kids to chase so Jess brought it over to show the kids. Max and Jorie liked it but Bunts didn't want anything to do with him! Pretty cool lookin bird!

After it was all said and done Max got to pet a bunny too! He loved the animals!!

Poor Hunter was so sad:)! What cute boys though!:)

And I even chased a bunny or chicken? Hahaha! I can't even remember what we chased this year:) So no birds, chickens, or bunnies! All in all is was a successful year:)!

Dying Easter Eggs!!!!!!!

Friday night, April 22nd, 2011, we dyed Easter Eggs!! Kind of a tradition! Jess is a Lion's Club Member so each member brings 3 dozen dyed eggs! So Gentry and Tyson have dyed Grant's for him the last few years! So we usually dye like 7 dozen!! Hunter LOVED it this year! Cute picture of him, not so much of me:)!

His favorite thing was to paint the egss. A coloring set I got this year had paint in it! He still talks about painting eggs:)!

Attempt at a picture but Bunts was much too busy:)! He was really concentrating!!

This side of the counter was, well.......the "special" side:)!!!!

As you can tell he takes after his father sometimes:)...he was not wanting any more pictures:)!

Who knows what I said:) but he's smiling big for this one!!

Family picture!! Minus Max:(! He was long asleep!! I think we started at 10 pm:)! Next year though!!! Love Easter time!!!
