Happy 1st Birthday Hunter!!!

I can't believe our baby is ONE year old!!! The past year has been filled so many wonderful memories and the wonderful blessing of this beautiful little boy in our lives!!! We are so greatful for him and we LOVE him to pieces!! He has changed so much over the past year, and has such a cute little personality!! Bare with me, because there are a lot of pictures, but how do you choose just a few out of over a thousand of pictures (literally). We are having a party tonight, since it is officially Sunday, at my parent's house. So just prepare yourselves for more pictures:). Hunter was born March 29, 2008 at 1:17 am (sorry Tys we tried for the 28th). He weighed 9-2 and was 21" long.

He had kind of a rough start into this life, but recovered very, very well and is just growing and developing like he should. All hooked up in the NICU about 2 hours after being born.

Going home!!! It snowed this time last year too!!!

One of dad's favorite pictures! Hunter you are and always have been such a good baby. You are full of smiles, fun, love, and more!! He is 4 days old.

Blessing Day and all tuckered out!!

Six months old!

Just before his first haircut!! The mullett had to go:)

. . .and after. First haircut on Halloween. Oh so handsome!

Little Stinker for his 1st Halloween. 7 months old!!

Loves to play with his toys!! 10 1/2 months old.

And again, more toys!!

I think there might be some mischief in those eyes:)

11 months old!!

These next pictures are Hunter's very favorite things to do right now in his life. . . .

Loves to stand up to our sliding galss door and look outside, he really likes it when the curtains closed and he has to crawl underneath the curtain.
He also likes to pull all the dirty clothes out of the baskets. Basically he loves to take anything out of it's place or get into anything he's not supposed to, and he sure thinks it's funny if we get after him:)
Absolutely LOVES to pull all the newspapers out of the basket and throw them over his shoulder:)
This is his designated toy spot in our living room and he loves to play with his toys!!

And yes, he still loves the bathroom! He loves to throw everything in the tub including the basket that holds all these items! He also loves unroll the toilet paper, who wouldn't?:)

Hunter we just want to let you and everyone else know how much we LOVE you!! We look forward to all the excitement life has to offer!!! You are such a sweetheart and we can't imagine life without you!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BOY!!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!

SOLD!!

Well, we officially sold our scooter! We delivered it down to a couple in Roy on Saturday night. The guy came to look at it a few days ago and was very interested, but didn't have any way to get it back to his home. He paid for our gas and paid what we were asking, so it was a good deal. We are sooo sad to see it go, but it's not a logical time in our lives to have a scooter. But someday when our kids are grown up a little more, we want to get another one. We bought in on a spur of the moment decision and in this case we should have thought about it. We may have been able to sell it for more, but have had it for sale all winter (wrong time of year, we know), but this guy again paid what we were asking, so we took it! My dad told me once that he and my mom decided when they first got married, not to buy anything over $100 unless they thought about it overnight. I think this is a great rule in most cases. Anyway, we are now scooter free.

After we delivered the scooter, we met Megan and Zach at Maddox for some yummy dinner!!!

I thought this would make a cute picture, but Hunter wouldn't stand there on his own, nor would he smile. Tonight was officially Hunter's last day of riding backwards in his carseat!!! I'm so excited for him to face forward and see what's going on!!! I can't believe he's gonna be 1 year old!!!!

Just chillin'/Wild sleeper

Last night, we were just hanging out and we put on a Baby Einstein video for Hunter to watch and got out his bean bag for him to lay on. Well as you can see, life is good. When I took this picture, he was just rubbing his belly and watching his movie. What a stinker:)

Then last weekend, I got home from exercising and Hunter's bedding was off his crib because I had washed it, so Jess just laid him on the floor at the foot of our bed to take a nap. Like an hour before these pictures, he was on his back and directly in the middle of the blanket. But he had rooled over on his tummy (that's how he always sleeps) and scooted under our bed and wedged himself up against the bags and stuff under our bed. These pictures don't quite capture the moment very well, but it was so cute. He tosses and turns like crazy in his sleep, and he always had to be touching something. He always ends up in a corner of his crib.

Our new toy and Hunter's 1st fear!!

Yesterday, we had a fun package delivered to our house. A bike trailer/double jogging stroller!! No that's not an annoucement, but the double stroller will be useful someday. I decided to use my birthday money to buy this, so that Hunter and I can go on bike rides, if the weather ever cooperates. It's snowed yesterday and again today, but someday it will get warm. Jess and I have bikes that were left at my parent's apartments, but they both need a little fixing up, so we've go to get them fixed:) Hunter had some definite fun with the box. He's turned into quite the little climber.

Jess had him laughing so hard. Misty gave us some trucks that used to be Tracen and Trevor's, and Hunter absolutely loves them! He pushes them all around the house. Well, Hunter was sitting on the box and Jess would push the trucks and make them drive off of the box. Hunter would laugh everytime!!!

Just checking out his new ride:)

We LOVE our daddy!! I promise, there's never a dull moment. Jess grabbed a pair of scissors and the box and went into Hunter's room. I knew he was up to something, but didn't quite know what. Then out he came wearing the box and growling like a monster at Hunter. Hunter was just a laughing!!!

Here's Jess, aka Sponge Bob Square Pants

And here's Hunter laughing at Jess. He really thought it was so funny!!!!

What a pair!!
All buckled in and ready to go, now if only the weather would cooperate:)!!

Here's Hunter's new fear. Well he really has never had fears, but he is scared of fans for some reason.
A couple weekends ago when Hunter and I went to Park City with my parents, we ate at Red Robin and they have great big fans on the ceiling that were going around and Hunter just watched them forever. My mom watched Hunter a couple days after that, and Hunter was looking at the ceiling fan in my parents house, so my mom turned it on, because he had been so facinated with them at the restaurant. She said he just cried. Well, the last couple of days Hunter has just stood by our bed and stared at the ceiling fan in our room. So I thought I would try turning it on, just to see if he would be ok with it and get used to fans, well he started crying and immediately turned around and crawled out of the room as fast as he could. Yesterday, I wanted Jess to see how Hunter reacted to the fan, so I turned it on again. In the picture above, Hunter would watch the fan if he was held, but he had a white knuckle grip on Jess. After the fan was off, he just sat in our doorway and watched it just to see what it would do. I have know idea why he's scared of the fan, hopefully he gets over that by the summer when we turn them on:)

We LOVE Warm Weather!!!

It has been so nice outside the last few days!!! According to the weatherman, this next week isn't supposed to be very nice, but we've loved being able to be outside this past week!! We've gone running/walking/on stroller rides. .

Trevor and Tracen came over to get there hair cut by Uncle Jesse (doesn't that remind you of Full House? Everytime I say that, I think of Full House. They kind of resemble each other, dontcha think?). Hunter had his first wagon ride, in his wagon from The Bradshaw's. . .

We played soccer/kick ball. Mom and Hunter vs Trevor. Not sure who won, but it was fun. Everytime I helped Hunter chase the ball and then kick it, he would just laugh!!

Jess hung Hunter's swing (another toy inherited from The Bradshaw's, we love cousins!!) in the tree and he LOVES it!!! He just laughs so hard when he swings. This was the first time he's swung in a swing like this.

The next day was nice too, so of course we had to play outside!!! Just chilin'

Bunter and Dad

and. . . .another wagon ride!!!

Last night (Friday night) Jess and Kevin were at scout camp, so Jen, Jorie, Hunter, and I headed out for a night on the town (Logan). We went to Sam's, K-Mart, and Burger King drive thru. It was a really fun night!! Here's Hunter and Jorie sharing a shopping cart heading into Sam's!! Aren't they cute!!!

Park City

Last weekend Jess had to go to Montana with The Army, so Hunter and I headed to Park City with my parents on Thursday afternoon. We ate dinner at Red Robin in Layton and then on to the outlets!! We shopped until we dropped, well until we were out of money and the stores were closing:) Then we headed to the condo in Midway!! The next morning we headed to Thanksgiving point. My dad had a class to go to, so my mom and I just walked around. It was pretty cold outside still and there wasn't a whole lot going on, so we walked around the shops and then got a bite to eat. My cousin, Alyssa, lives in Eagle Mountain which is like 15 minutes away. Her and her daughter Rylie came to meet us at Thanksgiving Point. Once my dad was done with his class, we drove out to see her house and to see Kam and Scott. These were the only two pictures I took all weekend, wierd I know!!

We did a little more shopping on the way home and ate at Chuck-a-rama!! Then Hunter and I slept at my parents house Friday night since I had to work Saturday, and they were so nice to watch Hunter. We slept over Saturday night too, just because we were home alone. Hunter had a long night. For some reason he woke up at 3 am, 5 am, 6 am, and like 7:30am. He never does that, but he's teething, so I wonder if that's why. We were both tired, but we made it to church on time and even made it through all 3 hours. Dad finally made it home Sunday evening, and we are so happy to be home and all together!!

Jess Snowmobiling and Our very own American Idol

These are kind of late, but I forgot I had these pictures on my camera. Jess went snowmobobiling last week on March 11 with Kevin and Josh Sackett and his dad. They went for a ride a Green Canyon. It was a beautiful day and they said they had lots of fun!!!

These are the last couple of pictures I took of Hunter before he got his hair cut a couple of weeks ago.

And last but not least, our very own American Idol!!! This was Jess's favorite contestant, so he just had to be like him:) Just kidding!! What a goofball!
