18 Weeks!!

If you're getting sick of the weekly pictures, just ignore them. Jess thinks weekly ones are too much, but I didn't take near enough with Hunter! We get to find out if it's a boy or a girl next Monday, December 7th. Only one week and one day more!! I wanted to wait until Christmas morning to look at the ultrasound picture, but I think I lost. But the closer it gets the more excited I'm getting, so either way will be so fun!!

Black Friday!!!!!!

Well we started the most WONDERFUL day of the year EARLY this year!! My alarm was set for 1:50 am!!! I wasn't going to go to bed, but being pregnant I didn't think that was very smart, and I was supposed to work at 7 am! I picked up Gentry at 2:30 and we met Jen at Old Navy! I drove separate from Jen just in case I ended up working. I had requested Thanksgiving morning, but don't know if I'll be cut or on-call until abotu 6 am, so I had to plan on it. We got some great deals! I was most excited about some new maternity jeans that were only $13.??, regularly $35. Maternity pants are what they are, but they're much better than my old ones. A girl passed out while we were in line at Old Navy, I found out she was pregnant. The employees gave her some water and I gave her some fruit snacks, it was all I had but at least it was something right? She probably thought I was crazy. Jen and Gentry said I had fullfilled my nursing duties for the day:)!
Then it was off to Kohl's at 4 am!! Here we are in line!! I'm tired, pale, and once again my plump face!! I'm pretty sure it's just the camera:)!!

We we were walking to get in line, we were excited that it wasn't over to K-Mart's doors like it was last year, but then we saw this line. It was wrapped clear around the side of Kohl's, it went fast though. We had tons of laughs and someone in line definitely at too much turkey!! We went to Sam's at 5 am and poor Gentry couldn't come in. Each person had to have a membership card. There was a couple in front of us and behind us, and the husband of one and the wife of the other couldn't go in either! I thought that was retarded!! We were fast though! We hit Al's at about 5:20 and that was a LONG line! I found out I was on-call and didn't have to go in to work, so that was soooo GREAT!! Then we went to Shopko and decided we'd come back since there were plenty of what we wanted and the line was like a 45 min wait. Went to Freddy's and then to Angie's for some YUMMY breakfast!!!! Back to Shopko and then Jen had to go home. Gentry and I decided to battle the LONG line at Bath and Body, but it went quicker than we thought!! I picked up Hunter from Carol's abotu 10:30 am and was so ready for nap time but Hunter wasn't! Shelley called me from the hospital at 1:45 pm and cut me for the rest of my shift. I was so thankful that I didn't have to work and that I was cut for the rest of the day!! So Hunter and I had a nice nap. I usually like to put up Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving, but I was way too tired!!

Oh and here was our adventure for the day!! Gentry and I found this moose shed laying in the middle of the intersection on Main street and 2nd North in Logan at 2:30 AM, so we turned around since there wasn't traffic and she jumped out and picked it up!! Who'd of thought!! It was cracked, but oh well. It's not every day you see a moose shed on Main Street!!

I love this picture of him!! It looks like he's scaring us!!! Hunter's been saying so many new things these last couple weeks! Some of them (and I may have already written some of them) are: saying repeatedly "Hi, bye while waving", cracker, door, sock, shoe, Tys, horsey, pig, toys, duck, baby, cheese and that's all I can think of right now. He such a cute little mutt!! And he's FULL OF IT!! We just love him!! Gent and Tys came over Friday night and we watched Twilight. Gent hadn't seen it and I needed a refresher. Now we're ready for New Moon!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!

We had such a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving!!! The guys started out the morning Pheasant hunting, minus my dad-he ended up woth pneumonia, so he didn't think it was a very good idea to go. Then we headed over to my parent's, it was our year to celebrate with them this year. We attempted some family pictures, but most didn't turn out as good as I thought, mostly because I'm fat and pregnant, at least my face looks that way, so these were the 2 pictures I liked the best. Of course Hunter's not looking in the first one

And YES, Hunter's kissing the tree!! I'm such a mean mom! I got him to come over by the tree, but then he wouldn't hold still and look at me, so I told him to kiss the tree so maybe he's hold still after and I could snap some pics!! It didn't work. But at least there's a story to go with it!

Then just before dinner, my mom wanted to try to get a picture of all the grandkids with Santa hats on!! This is probably the best one! Hunter has an olive on his finger, that was his distraction. We tried!!! We ate way to much and had a wonderful time with our family!! We went out to see Jess's family for a bit and then Hunter slept over at Grant and Carol's because Carol was so nice to watch him so I could go shopping on black friday and Jess had to work. I LOVE this time of year!!! There are so many things I am thankful for, the list would pages long!! A few things I'm thankful for are my Savior, the gospel, my testimony, the plan of salvation, my family (immediate and extended), my loving-hard working-HOT husband, a beautiful happy healthy little boy, this new little baby growing inside of me, our wonderful friends, a warm home, food to eat, my job, cars, technology, my health, diet coke, my insulin pump, health insurance, my freedom and those who provide it, and countless more things!! We are blessed!!!!! We hope you all had a wonderful day!!!

Twins!!

Nope, we're not having twins (at least I'm pretty sure. Our ultrasound is next week, I better not jinx us!). This is so totally random, but the first time I've ever seen this before. I was making brownies a couple weeks ago and one of the eggs had 2 yolks, so I had to take a picture!!

17 Weeks!!!

After church on Sunday, before we went to the party, Hunter got this step stool out of our room and carried it out so he could reach the light switch!! This is one of his favorite things to do!! And he knows he's not supposed to, so he just grins when I see him!! Here's a few pictures, they're all pretty similar:).

16 Weeks!!!!

All is well, I'm just getting BIGGER!!! I think I felt the baby move last Saturday morning while I was cooking breakfast and again last night a little, I'm not positive though. I'm still feeling pretty good, but I have been getting really tired after busy days of work. This was taken at night, after eating dinner and dessert!! I'm a lot smaller in the morning, but by evening I'm huge!

They're starting YOUNG!!!!

Jorie is here today and Hunter said "tiss" (kiss) for the first time. He's really good at giving smack kisses and he had this little toy frog and was holding it up to Jorie's mouth saying "tiss, tiss." I had to see what he was doing to understand what he was saying. A little later, I asked him for a kiss, so he gave me a big kiss and then leaned down to give Jorie a kiss. I'm pretty sure we're in trouble!! Here's a few action shots!!

It's Carol's birthday today and we just want to wish her a VERY Happy Birthday!!! We celebrated last night, but I didn't even take any pictures. I'm such a slacker!! Thanks so much for all you do for us!! We love you and hope you have a WONDERFUL day!!!!

Baby Update and a Relaxing Saturday!!

I had a Dr. appointment Friday the 13th and everything was good!! I've gained 4 lbs in 5 weeks, not so sure I like that, but what do ya do?!! Baby's heart rate was 150's. And our "big" ultrasound is scheduled for December 7th, with Dr. Andrus, who is a Perinatologist. He was the one who did our 20 week ultrasound with Hunter. He will do an echo on the baby's heart (same as with Hunter) to make sure everything's okay, just precautionary because of my diabetes. I'm wanting to keep the sex of the baby a surprise for Christmas morning, but I've got a lot of talking to do with Jess:-)!!! He just wants to know, so we'll see! Saturday was the first day we've been home together in a long time!! It was so fun!! Jess was up and at em' early like usual, doing work outside. Hunter slept almost 12 hours friday night!! That's a record for him lately!! We ot all bundled up and went out to play with Rocky and see what Dad was up to.

Hunter really didn't like Rocky to lick him or touch him. He really loves to get right in Rocky's face when he's in the kennel, but it's a different story when he's out! After letting Hunter play outside for a bit, I asked him if we should go inside and make breakfast. He rode his trike right over by the garage where it goes and got right off and headed in the house! It's usually a battle to get Hunter to get off his trike and come in the house. He usually ends up in tears, but not that day!!!

The other night I was changing Hunter's diaper and Jess snuck up behind me and scared me and I jumped. Well Hunter thought that was hysterical as well and laughed so hard and then looked at Jess and said "Dad"!! It was so cute!!! He's so cute and fun!! Hunter's obsessed with balls and pumpkins right now. He loves to point them out wherever we are!! Satuday night Gent and Tys came over and hung out for a bit and we played a mean game of Hand and Foot. Girls lost, but we let 'em:-)!!!!

Happy Veterans Day yesterday to all the Men and Women who have served and who are currently serving our country!! I am so grateful for the service and sacrifices our military service men and women and their families have and do make for our country. Jesse has been in the Army Reserves for EIGHT years this coming January!! I am so proud of him and his love and dedication to our country! Jess has so much pride and respect for our country, as we ALL should!! We are so blessed to live in a free country and have all that we do. I know I take my freedom for granted sometimes, but I am SO grateful for the people who are willing to fight that we may be FREE!! Honey we LOVE YOU SO MUCH and are SO PROUD OF YOU AND ALL THAT YOU DO!!! Thanks for being YOU!! Jess took the camera to drill this last weekend and took these pictures, so I wanted to share them!

15 Weeks!

I'm a slacker, but here's my 15 week picture. I'm almost 16 weeks, I can hardly believe it. I'm feeling pretty good, I threw up for the 3rd time, this pregnancy, yesterday morning from brushing my teeth. I really hate brushing my teeth while I'm pregnant. But, it will get better.
