Max and Hunter's 1st bath together!

Max and Hunter took their 1st bath together 4/26/10. This isn't the greatest picture because the camera was on video mode instead of picture mode but I didn't know that until way later, so I had to take a picture of the paused video. So this is the best I've got. Hunter thought it was pretty darn cool to have Max in the tubby with him!!

Friday the 25th of April we decided to run through the sprinklers or "rinkers" as Hunter would say!! Hunter LOVED this!!!

Then we had a break and rode scotters! Hunter and Grandpa

Then Grandma and Grandpa ran through the sprinklers with Hunter!!! He really thought that was fun!!

And we even turned on sprinklers under the tramp!! This kid LOVES to jump and is getting really good at it!!

Grandpa and Max. Max slept on the deck in his bouncer for most of the time we were outside but Grandpa rescued him when he woke up. After we were done playing outside, I went to lay Hunter down for a nap and he just a normal kid that doesn't like to go to sleep. Jess says he's like me and doesn't want to miss anything, and that's just how I am. Jess mainly puts to sleep at night and down for naps when he's home and Hunter never cries, but when I put him down, he cries more often than not. So I started bargaining with him that if he takes a nappy then we can do something when he wakes up. This particular day I told him if he took a nappy we could go for a 4-wheeler ride when he woke up. He layed right down and napped. When he woke up, my mom got him out of bed and the first thing he said was "Hunter close eyes, go ride 4-wheeler." He TOTALLY remembered!!! He's just TWO!! I thought that was so dang cute!!

Thursday, April 24, 2010, was a fun day, eventful but fun! I ran to Walmart with both kids that afternoon and after I got back out to the car, had Hunter buckled in his seat, and was getting ready to put Max in the car, I noticed that Max didn't have a blankie on him, and he did when went into the store. However, I double checked the whole car just to make sure I hadn't left it in the car to begin with. At this point, I was sure Hunter had thrown it out of the car. So I had to load both kids back into the cart (a worker was going to take my cart for me, but I told him we were going back for round two) and back into Walmart we went. Stopped at Customer Service and no blanket, we retraced our path and still no blanket, back to customer service and we finally found the blanket. After I loaded both kids into the car, the same worker came to get my cart and said are you sure you're not going for round three? Hunter went right home to have a nap after that!! Oh boy, what an experience!!

That evening we went to have dinner with Grant, Chance, Gent, and Tys at Willlow Park for the Rotary Club. So we decided to go to the zoo before dinner! Hunter LOVED it!!!! He is at such a fun age where he loves pretty much everything and everything is so interesting and exciting!! Here he is in front of the ducks!

Bunts, Max, and Mom in front of the elk! The whole way to the zoo, when I would ask him what we were going to see he would say deer...elk...bears. We found 2 out of the 3. It was so much dang fun!!! I'm getting REALLY excited for our Cali trip in ONE month!!

Max had his 2 month check up on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 and is doing so well!! His stats are:

Weight: 11 lbs (31%)

Height: 22.5 in (31%)

Head Circ: 15 in (13%)

So he's growing and developing just as he should!! He had to get 3 shots, which are no fun at all and an oral vaccine. He quieted down pretty quickly after I held him and was a little fussy at times for a day or so but not bad at all. I gave him acetominophen for the 1st couple days just 'cause I think it hurts but he's doing great and we go back in 2 more months!! Keep growing baby Max!!! We love you!!! Here's his battle wounds!

They also started drilling our well that same day! Hunter loves to go see the "big truck"

I pulled out this playmat for Max. He really likes his bouncer, but I thought he was old enough for this!! Hunter just loved this when he was a baby, but he really didn't like the bouncer. It's funny how different they are! So of course when I got it out Hunter was right there to try it out too!!! I love that he's in on everything!!!

We've also been spending A LOT of time outside now that the weather's finally cooperating!! Some of Hunter's favorite things are to jump!!

Play baseball!! He'll say "Hunter hit" or "Hunter do it" and if he misses he "almost" in just the cutest way!! And look he's smiling for the camera!!! Yay, we're making progress!!!!

Father's Day!!!

Well June 20th was Father's Day, and I didn't even get one picture of Jess or our dad's. I CAN'T believe that but we had a wonderful day! I hope Jess, my dad, Grant, Terrill had an awesome day!!! We LOVE YOU SOOOO much!! Jess is the best father in the world!! Hunter and Max are so lucky to have such a cool dad!! And I'm so lucky that their dad is SOOO HOT and the best in every way!!!!! We love you Jess!!! Thanks for being you and always making us laugh!!!!! And to all the rest of you wonderful father's out there, we hope you had a great day! I did however take some pictures of our basement floor. It was all dry so I was able to walk on it!

And I even got to partially park in the garage for the 1st time!!

We had yummy ribs at Carol and Grant's and we had yummy steak and dutch oven potatoes at my parent's! We were so dang full!! After dinner at my parent's, the grandkids wanted to play in the boat!! So Grandpa took them out there to play and I cAnNoT believe I didn't get more pictures!! But here's Hunter practicing water-skiing and sayign "hit it!" I can't wait to go skiing this summer!! Hunter liked the tube last year, but he'll LOVE it this year!!!

4-Wheeler Ride up Green Canyon - June 19, 2010

Saturday night we went on a 4-wheeler ride up Green Canyon. Grandma Carol was so nice to watch Max for us! And Hunter LOVED it!!!!! That's all he talked about before and after the ride!! I snapped a picture of everyone while they were eating and of course got some crap for bringing my camera, but you'll never believe what Jess admitted....he said he's come to realize that one day he'll appreciate having the pictures!!! This is HUGE!!!!! He gets so sick of me taking pictures, but I think he's just getting more used to it!!!! And it's so dang fun to look back at all our fun memories and adventures!!
