We LOVE warm weather!!!

It was so nice outside today!! Sheena called and invited us over to play in the pool!! It was so much fun to relax and chat!! Here's Hunter and Brody!! Can you believe Brody is 1 1/2 years older than Hunter and they're almost the same size! Hunter's favorite thing to do while in the pool was throw anything out that he could grab. He lost his grip on his feet and went under for a split second (I was standing right there), so that was the end of him wanting to play in the pool. Once he was out, he crawled over and picked up a rock and threw it in to the pool. What a stinker! It was a great day!! Thanks you guys!

Funny Dad, funny mower!

This last Sunday night, we were just hanging out, and Jess was just chasing Hunter and playing around. All of a sudden, Bunter was in a very silly mood. I don't usually post vidoes, but this is way too funny to not share!! You'll just have to pause the music on our blog:) Enjoy!!

13 1/2 months and already babysitting himself!!

This last weekend, Jess was gone to Montana for drill. I had to work Saturday and Sunday, so Hunter and I slept and my parent's and they were so kind to watch him for 2 full days!! Also on Saturday Jeremy and Tonya had a garage sale at their house, so I was trying to get everything I had to sell, ready to go on Friday plus pack for the both of us for the weekend. While I was getting everything ready, including myself, Hunter turned a movie on for himself. He's done this many times. He knows how to push the power button on the TV and DVD player and then his Baby Einstein movie is already in so it just starts playing. I knew the movie was playing and he was just playing as usual, but a few minutes later, I had poked my head from the kitchen to check on him, and this is what I saw!!

He had somehow climbed up on our recliner and was just chillin' in the corner watching his movie!! What a potlicker!! He hasn't done it again, and I have no idea how he climbed up there. My only guess is that he climbed on the toy that's by the recliner, but I don't think it was close enough to the chair for him to do that, but I guess you never know!!!

Another Haircut!! A summer do!

Well, we got really brave and cut Bunty's hair ourselves, with the clippers. So here's just a few pictures.

The before:

messy hair

Done, curly hair, but he's not so happy:)

During the haircut:
This is his old man do:) We had him sit in the tub in his Bumbo and I was in charge of him, while Jess cut his hair. We started with a #8 attachment and he did a couple strips and I didn't think it was taking very much off, so I told him to go to a #6 attachment. Well to my surprise, it was a lot shorter than I was anticipating. I didn't really love it at first, and I just wanted his curly hair back. But, I put gel in it and spiked it and I think it looks so good!

The after:

I love this picture of him, and it's a cuter picture with his hair short than the rest of them. And he's actually dressed!! Here he is, all done up with spiked hair.

He was totally loving the dogs today!! He loves to put his fingers into people's mouths. He'll hold them up and try to get them in our mouths and then just laugh when he does. Well, Rocky and Sadie had their mouths open and he was just a squealing. He thought it was pretty funny.

He is getting so stinkin' big!! He looks so grown up with shorter hair. He's still working on the walking thing. Sometimes he'll do it, but we still have to help him get started. He mostly crawls and walk along furniture. However, tonight he actually walked around our living room quite a bit by himself. He's also got 9 teeth, or in the process of getting them. He's gonna have 6 on top, he's got molars that are working there way through, and then he's got 3 on the bottom. He's a little jabber box. He'll talk your ear off. And he's got the cutest personality. We just love him to pieces!!!

I'm behind again! Wierd, I know:)

I always say I'm going to keep caught up, but then I never do. So, here's a little of what's been going on in our lives. We tried out our new bike trailer a couple weeks ago. Bunty, Gentry, and I went for a bike ride to the Stake Center in Hyrum (it's 9 miles) and I thought it would be no big deal, but holy cow! It was so hard. I'm going to have to keep riding to get used to it. Bunty all strapped in and ready to go, helmet and all.

Bunter and I. By the end of the ride, the helmet had to come off, because he was so uncomfortable. His poor head was forced forward, so he was looking down and he did not like that, also next time we go, I'm going to have to pad underneath where he sits with blankets, because it's pretty much like sitting on a bar. Other than that, we LOVE the bike trailer. We can't wait to go for another ride!

Tracen and Trevor. Saturday, April 4th, our nephew Trevor was baptized. Jess was able to baptize and confirm he and he did such a wonderful job. I am so proud of Jess and so thankful for what a wonderful husband, father, and person he is! I'm am grateful he is worthy to hold the priesthood and he honors it. I love him more than I could ever express, he is my best friend! Here's a couple of groups photos. I was kind of a slacker with the camera.

And here's Bunty, just being mischievious. This same weekend, we cleaned apartments. It is so nice to have them over with:) But it's sure fun to be with family!

And the weekend before this, the last weekend in April, we headed down to the city (Salt Lake:)), with Dustin and Sheena and Craig and Julie to the supercross races. It was pretty darn fun! Cold, but fun! We ate dinner at Rumbi, at The Gateway. It was so good. If you've never been there, I suggest you try it, and try the sweet potatoe french fries. And if you can believe it, I forgot my camera! I know, so unlike me. But it was such a fun night!!
The next day, Sunday April 26, 2009, my dad was set apart as the Bishop of the new Millville 5th Ward. Yep, there's now 5 wards in Millville. Can you believe it? We went to church with them and were able to be there to support he and my mom. They are both such a strength to me and I look up to them so much!! I'm so very blessed to have such wonderful parents who raised me right and taught me the principles of the gospel. They taught by word, but more so by example. Mom and Dad, you are the best and I love you both more thans words can tell!!! Thanks for ALL your love and support and for all you do for us!!

Hunter's Walking!!!

Hunter took his first steps the night we got home from St. George. It was Monday, April 20th. Jess was determined he was going to walk that night, because he does so well walking along things, and pushing things. So Jess and I sent Hunter back and forth bribing him with a toy and he took his first steps and did it over and over again!! I don't know what was more fun, watching Hunter walk or watching Jess's eyes light up with excitement to see Hunter walk!! I wish I had a picture of it!! It was so cute!! Jess was like a little kid on Christmas morning. So yep, Bunty is taking steps here and there. We still have to hold him still to get his balance and then he will take a few steps. He gets so excited we he starts walking, that he tries to run and loses his balance. We'll keep practicing. I'm sure in the future I'll wish he wasn't walking yet, but it is so much fun to watch him grow!!
