Hunter's first camping trip

Well, we ventured out for the Memorial Day weekened and took Hunter camping for the first time. We also got to use our trailer for the first time. We bought our trailer last fall, because it's a lot easier to camp in a trailer, especially with a baby. We camped up Blacksmith Fork at acamp spot that Jesse ands his family have camped at for years and still continue to do so. It was such a fun weekend and Hunter did so well. He slept both nights and otherwise he just got be held a lot, which he really likes. The weather was good Saturday and Sunday, but Monday it just rained. We hope to have many more camping trips this summer and for years to come.

Monte, Ev, Hunter, and Jess sitting around the campfire

Trevor, Hunter, Jess, Tracen, and Mindi still just hanging around the campfire

Our cute family after our first night sleeping in our trailer. Hunter slept so well, as you can see in this picture, but it had been quite a while since he had eaten, so I had to wake him up to eat.

All bundled up for the night

Dad and Hunter laying in bed

Dad cooking breakfast while Hunter and mom watch. The deal was that if Dad cooked all the meals, then mom would do the dishes. He definitely got the better end of the deal:)!!

  1. Mindi - your updates are so cute. What a fun camping trip. Just looking at your pictures made me really homesick! I miss doing all that kind of stuff and just hanging out with family and friends. Your little guy is getting really cute and keeping his hair. I'm impressed that he already rolled over. What a mover. You are also looking very cute and skinny. Way to go! Glad Hunter is sleeping thru the night for you. River is 20 months and still wakes up atleast once. One of these days he'll get over it. You sure have a cute little family! Keep the posts coming. We loving seeing you guys through pictures.

  2. Marla-- The only thing that would make the trailer picture complete is Jess wearing a neck brace half way around his neck, a blue spray painted 2-door car with the trunk open, with a few pheasants laying in there and a dog named Tippy sitting next to them, with twine string tieing him to the spare tire. ha ha ha "Get em" I sure missed the Memorial Camp out, but Ecuador was pretty fun.
